Great food, great value, biscuits and gravy are huge. Great staff. Small home town diner feel. Grilled chicken sandwich is awesome as well.Highly recommended...

Been goin here for almost 4 years now and last 2 to 3 weeks the food quality has been absolutely horrible! Over easy eggs does not mean no yoke, sausage should not be so burnt can't even chew it ends up more like leather, bacon burnt,french toast was very doughy we walked out paying for all of it only watomy a quarter of the food. The waitress complained the whole time n was very rude. Won't be goin back here for quite awhile sadly :(

Big portion sizes, highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.

Great place for breakfast. Staff is friendly and food is great. Not so much for Lunch. Been to lunch here twice a month apart on different days of the week, and both times my burger was overcooked and i wasn't offered a refill on my drink.Go BEFORE 11am, you'll get 5 star service. Afternoon, 2 star.

The food is good, prices are reasonable, but just have quite a bit of people that might be waiting for your meal for 30 minutes but other than that great food

Not a ton of options, here or in town.;) But pretty normal Indiana fair. Eggs, bacon, coffee. The basics. Staff was friendly but curt. If your not into dives this place might not be for you. Some cool old photos and the wall had a bunch of writing from past guests. Locals seem to like.

Very relaxing mom-and-pop breakfast/lunch establishment. Make sure you go hungry because I can guarantee you will not leave hungry!!! You definitely get your money's worth! Prices are also responsible..

Friendly service and the food is like your grandma would make. Portions are insanely huge. There's no way you'll be eating all of it in one sitting!

We were the second table and It took us 30-50 minutes for our food to get out. Found 2 different pieces of hair on 2 different prices of toast. I got the farmers omelet and something was wrong bc my stomach is upset. There were large portions which I was happy about but did not look appealing. I don’t blame the waitress. She was nice and it started getting busy. Beard nets needed...

You cannot beat the value at Johns if they are busy don’t expect to get in and out in less than a half hour. It will be worth the wait though! Carryout orders are always an excellent option if you don’t have time to wait.

Used to like eating here. had bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, toast and a pancake. Eggs had no flavor, bacon was deep fried, toast was cheap bread that was hard, and fried potatoes looked like potatoes chips. YOU DONT DEEP FRY FRIED POTATOES! Pancake was only thing decent. Server was friendly. I wont be back.

The new cook is doing great. She just cooks the food, instead of making excuses. Good choice John. She is great.
